This team is responsible for creating an environment where people feel welcomed, connected and important. Through our greeters, ushers and connection center, we strive to provide an environment where everyone is able to connect with others and investigate Fairlawn Heights. worshipteam
The worship team at Fairlawn Heights is responsible for providing music during our main worship services and other special events as necessary. Our purpose is to lead people into a real and relevant encounter with Jesus Christ through music. The team consists primarily of drums, piano, keys, electric guitar and bass guitar with 1-2 vocalists including the worship leader. If you are interested in more information about the worship team, please contact us. This group requires an audition and proficiency in playing from charts.
technicalteam
During each Sunday service at Fairlawn Heights, there is a team of volunteers that ensures our worship environment is as free from technical distraction as possible. These teams are often the unsung heroes of Creative Arts @ Fairlawn Heights, yet are some of the most valuable members of our team. If you are interested in being involved in any of the tech teams, please contact us and we will arrange for training.
There are currently two technical teams, but we are constantly expanding our capabilities and the need for additional teams.
audioproduction
This team is responsible for ensuring every word spoken and note played in our worship service is clear and easily heard. Training is required for anyone interested in being involved in this team.
videoproduction
The video team is responsible for operating the software used for video projection in our worship services. With the amount of media used during the worship service, members of this team are very attentive to detail and aware of what is happening during the worship service. Training is required for anyone interested in being involved in this team.
